Judith is a designer, illustrator and educator. She has worked freelance most of her career, and presently designs and develops various consumer products including greeting cards, stationary products, textiles, giftware and toys for companies such as MOMA and Unicef. She also founded two children's web sites which are Planetpals.com (earth and environment) and International Kids Club at ikidsclub.com (world peace and world love). She has lectured and exhibited my work in Japan, Korea and New York.
Judith worked in Korea and lived in Japan for a time. While there, she found a fascination for many things Asian, especially exploring shugi, sumie and the cultures while traveling throughout Asia and Southeast Asia. She became interested in haiku, sijo and other poetry forms as a result of her travels. In 1998, she got involved with Haiku Moon and that's when her haiku began to evolve. Along with Jim Dolan, she was a judge for the Haiku Moon haiku contests. Her work has appeared in The Japan Times, Mainichi Daily News, Frogpond, and Sijo West.
Judith says, 'My interests include writing, art, traveling, antiques and languages and of course my family!'
